My name is Herb Gray. I am a third year NASCAR (Pure Stock Division) driver at the Altamont Raceway Park in Tracy, California.

The Pure Street Stock Division is the entry-level type car and is designed to keep the cost to run as low as possible for the racer. Everything on the car has to be "stock" and safety is first. The car is fully equipped with a full roll cage, safety net, racing seat, fire extinguisher and safety fuel cell.

1999 Season

We spent most of our 1999 season building and dialing in a new car for the 2000 season and helping out at the track. You can read about the track time in the new car on the G&G Update page.

1998 Season

My Rookie year was quite a success. I made top ten finish in every race I ran, with one fourth place finish and one fifth place being my best efforts.These consistant finishes earned a tenth place finish overall standing in the 1998 season.

The team is in the process of building a different Nova for the 1999 season. She is a 1976 Concours Hatchback, very straight and very strong. Check out the pictures and watch her development (new pictures coming soon).
