Pivot Cups
Pivot Cups

If you find yourself tightening your trucks as much as possible, yet they still manage to wobble, a simple solution is to make pivot cups using an ordinary latex balloon.  The pivot cups will fill in the space between the pivot head and the area around it, while remaining flexible, so you can still turn the trucks.  And, too add to that, they give your trucks a sharp scaled-down look.
First, pinch the end of the balloon (I suggest a water balloon, because they’re a bit thinner than party balloons) to a point and cut off about 2mm.
The portion that you’ve cut off should form a roughly shaped circle.  You can trim the edges to make it more neat, but make sure not to make the diameter any less than 3mm.
To put the truck back together, first put the hanger on a little bit over the kingpin and then push the pivot head into the pivot cup. Finish by putting on the top bushing and kingpin nut
Next, disassemble the truck, but leave the bottom bushing on.  Center the latex circle (pivot cup) over the pivot hole.
