Continuing the Kitbasher's Delight series, we've added a new side-door cab to expand your kitbashing options. This cab can be used to bash the Spectrum HO 70-ton loco as we've shown here and on the following kitbashing pages ... or to bash the Model Power Porter Hustler as illustrated by Sam Barbose's loco shown below and in the Detailing section. And it's adaptable to many other types, including larger locos like Alco S-1's, EMD SW's, etc.

KD-06 Bash for 70-ton Loco ........ $29.95
If you're starting with a Spectrum 70-ton loco, choose this package to build a 35-ton On30 critter ... kit includes complete cab with removable roof, material to widen the deck, pilots and corner steps, window glazing and fine wire for handrails / grab-irons.
You'll need: 70-ton loco, Kadee #47 couplers. Other materials for suggested modifications listed in instructions and shown on the following pages. (The #47 coupler has an underset shank & fits better than the "usual" #5 due to the thicker frame on the 70-ton loco.)

Use this package with almost any HO loco you'd like to bash into an On30 critter ... from the little MP Hustler to larger Alco S-1's, EMD SW's, etc. Kit includes complete cab with removable roof, pilots and corner steps, window glazing and fine wire for handrails / grab-irons.
Sam Barbose kitbashed "The Ox" (at right) using a Model Power Porter Hustler and one of our earlier cabs modified with an open vestibule ... we think the new cab is an ideal candidate for this loco & the doors are easily trimmed out. See more of Sam's bash in the Detailing section.
