Birth of a Dancing Heart
what of a life that one should see its lie
is this all, just a dream, then count it naught
feeling nothing, wanting more, yet waiting but to die
still, I am seeking, an uplifted spirit is all I sought
what of a love, one of the soul, somewhere in time
in the mysteries of life perhaps from out of the past
here am I waiting, waiting for magic, one love sublime
counting the cost, seeking the lot that fate shall cast
what of a dream, of an unknown time, birthing passions song
a passion for life, a renewing of spirit in some small part
life at variance, people hurt, still how could it be wrong
magnificence in one has brought to me a dancing heart
what of a life, that of love brought forth from a dream
out of the drought of my years, each day like fresh rain
thoughts spring forth as the sun and full of steam
no longer waiting for death but for full life again
A love of such fire has its frailties yet I have no fear
for now comes the music, every beat I feel in part
with only a glance, just a touch, our soul in tune, true destiny is here
thus I am reborn to you and called the Dancing Heart.
