Praying for Charity

We are in the process of adopting from overseas. Our new son will be 6 years old in July of 2008. He was abandoned at age 2 and has been in an orphanage ever since. He is proufoundly deaf and has been taught no sign language, or written language and cannot speak. He can't tell anyone if he is ill, or mistreated. He has never been to church or a grocery store. He has never owned anything of his own. He can not defend himself when he is accused of something by other children and his culture deems him as unemployable. He will be turned out in to the streets in his late teens if he is not adopted.

My job has been eliminated and I have been laid off. My husband was laid off twice last year and our credit was destroyed due to late bill payments, therefore we cannot just "get a loan." We are desperate for donations so that we will have the money needed to bring our new son home. They told us to be ready to travel and have the money by Christmas. You can help make a miracle happen. Keeping the spirit of Christmas all year around certainly applies here. If everyone who reads this would donate even the smallest amount, we could put a huge dent in the money we need to raise.
