I am a child of darkness – will D’fly be able to satisfy my hunger with her latest release
– ‘Breaking the Silence’? Oh yes – D’fly quenches the thirst and lust for dark, evil
beats that my soul has been searching for. We are taken into the insanity…on an
audio-stimulating voyage…one that chills our soul and then ensures that our blood is
pumpin…pumpin…
What an incredible voyage we are on. Please note the upcoming attractions. We
have the field of ‘sick twisted beats’ on the left and approaching you’ll notice the plains
of ‘deep, bone-chilling grooves’ in the black field of vinyl off to your right.
Do you feel the music? I sure as fukk do. We are being led down a dark path without
fear, because Dragn’fly is our puppetmaster. We must obey the alluring siren of her
tortured, techie, tribual beats, But be warned, if you wander off her path – there will be
trouble…for this is headhunter country. And they are hungry…for it is dinnertime…
This CD showcases Dragn’fly’s other skills - instead of dominating us at a partee with
her mystifying use of the cross-fader – she shows off her talent by selecting “the
bestest records ever” and then seamlessly melding them together. Towards the end of
the CD, she really starts to play with our emotions…building us up…teasing us with
her mixing style…tempting us…luring us…making us…want more…
We have become ‘endarkened’ and we are now officially dubbed children of the nite…I
must remember to offer up a worthy sacrifice…Mooooohahahahaa – (we can hear D’fly
laughing evilly in the background, as she knows what we have become…what she has
created…)
This trip has not quite taken us bakk from the dark side…because no matter how good
we are left feeling, we are still not safe when the sun comes out…
For we are still under the pitch-black shadow of the Dragn’fly.
