For Sammi

Though Eve came first, as prototype
she left room for improvement:
Sammi is the end result
of evolution's movement.

Diana, goddess of the moon,
hides her face in shame,
cowering in the darkness when
she hears Sammi's name.

Andromeda, chained to the shore
to satisfy the kraken,
knew that next to Sammi she
was seriously lackin'.

Though the Lorelei upon the rocks
has sent men to their graves,
her beauty cannot be compared
to Sammi's growing raves.

"The face that launched a thousand ships,"
they called that girl from Greece.
Though Helen might send men to war,
for Sammi, they'd make peace.

Men who seek Heaven's grace
need not look to the skies.
One glance from Sammi lets them know
Heaven is in her eyes.
