WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
WHAT:
Historic Fort Snelling located in Saint Paul, Minnesota announces it's World War II Living History Week-End. For one week-end each year, the 1820's Historic Fort Snelling time travels forward and transforms itself  into a 1944 military installation to celebrate the vital importance of Fort Snelling & the area in World War Two.   This is a living history event.  Reenactors are expected to provide displays and activities of a working military installation and to interact with the fort visitors.There is no battle,  however weapons demonstrations & Battle Drills will be scheduled. Fort visitors will travel throughout the fort visititng the various display and activity venues and interacting with the reenactors while learning about WW II.
DISPLAYS, DEMONSTRATIONS, VEHICLES AND OTHERS ACTIVITIES PLANED:

30th Div. Reenactors will have vehicles, weapons, equipment & barracks displays related to the 117th Infantry & 105th ECB and the US Army of WW II.

36th Div. Reenactors will have displys related to the 36th Div and the US Army of WW II.

Ft. Snelling Military Museum will have some vehicle and weapons displays related to WW II.

Commonwealth Reenactors will have displays of Cannadian& British Commonwealth WW II.

A WW II like Military like Obsticle Course and other Military training will be set up for vistors to participate in.
