Ft. Snelling Registration
REGISTRATION:

1.) All Reenactos, Collectors, Living Historians and Volunteers MUST Preregister for this event so event staff can plan for your participation -- NO WALK ONS!  Participation in the Fort Snelling World War II living history week-end is is limited to: United States & British Commonwealth AND Very Limited German impressions only.

a.) REENACTORS:
Pre registration IS REQUIRED by each  participating unit. (individual
registrations not required) Unit commanders must complete the attached Special Event Registration Form and forward it to the Fort Snelling Historic Site at the address noted on
the form. There are no registration fees.

b.) VOLUNTEERS:
Each reenactor is a volunteer historic interpreter.  Unit commanders must
insure that all participants are familiar with the Special Event Rules &
Procedures as well as the Special Event Interpreters Position Descriptions
which are attached.

2.) AXIS Reenactors may participate as PWs ONLY at this time.  They are also encouraged to participate an American Soldier, Sailor, Airman or Marine.  AMERICAN & BRIT COMMONWEALTH or AMERICAN & ALLIED CIVILIAN IMPRESSIONS & GERMAN PW ONLY AT THIS TIME!!!!

3.)  BARRACKS/ QUARTERS:
Reenactors are invited to billet in assigned barracks with their unit .
SPACE IS LIMITED and will be assigned on a first come first served basis in
the historic fort barracks. Space will also be provided to camp inside the fort grounds in reenactor supplied period tents.  Fresh water, showers and toilets are provided on
site.

4.) RATIONS:
The fort will provide a light breakfast and a noon meal on both Saturday and Sunday. The evening meal both days are to be provided by the individual reenactor.  There are no campfires or field cooking permitted anywhere within the historic fort with out Prior arangments!

5.) LOAD IN & OUT:  
As the historic fort is active as an 1820's historic living
history site both before and after the WW II Event, there is a window of opportunity to set up and take down.   Load In will be  permitted and encouraged after 5pm on Friday and take down will occur after 5pm on Sunday.  All Reenactors are expected to stay for the full event. There are NO PROVISIONS for early arrivals to set up prior to 5pm Friday and no provisions for early take down prior to 5pm Sunday. No Sunday night stay overs will be permitted.
