Trip To Tatooine

Although Tunisia served as the planet Tatooine for the majority of the film, several second unit "pick-up" shots for Star Wars were done in Death Valley, California in 1977. Gathering as much information as the Internet had to offer, Debbie and I set off on our damned-fool, idealistic crusade to find the planet furthest from the bright center of the universe.
