MATERIALS: worsted weight crochet cotton; hook size G.
STS USED: Ch, sc, dc and trc.

Ch 5, join to form a ring.
Rnd 1) Ch 3, work 11 dc in ring. Join with a sl st to top of beg ch-3.
Rnd 2) Ch 4, dc in same st as joining. Work (dc, ch 1, dc - V-st made) in each st around. Join with a sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-4.
Rnd 3) Sl st into first ch-sp. Ch 4, dc in same sp. *dc in sp between V-sts, V-st in ch-1 sp of next V-st. Rep from * around. Dc in sp between V-sts, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-4.
Rnd 4) Ch 1, sc in same st as joining and in each st around. Join with a sl st to first sc.
Rnd 5) Ch 1, turn. Work sc in same st s joining. Work 1 trc in next st, *sc in next st, trc in next st. Rep from * around. Join with a sl st in first sc.
Rnd 6) Ch 1, turn. Sc in first st and in each st around. Join with a sl st in beginning sc.
Rnd 7) Ch 4, dc in same st as joining. *Sk next sc, V-st in next sc. Rep around. Join with a sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch-4.
Rnd 8) Rep Rnd 3.
Rnd 9) Rep Rnd 4.
Rnd 10) Rep Rnd 5.
Rnd 11) Rep Rnd 6.
Rnd 12) Ch 1, (sc, 2 dc) in same st as joining, sk next st, *work (sc, 2 dc) in next st, sk next 2 sts. Rep from * around. Join with a sl st to beginning sc. End off.
Sew in loose ends.
