Call us at 303-794-4924. A volunteer will return your call and ask you some basic questions. We will then send you a formal adoption contract. We ask that you completely and thoroughly fill out the application and MAIL it back to us via the Post Office.Upon approval of your application we will call you as soon as a dog comes into our program that we feel would suit your preferences and family lifestyle. Adoption applicants are carefully screened to ensure the best possible matches for our homeless danes.First, by telephone interview, 2nd by reference checks and third by home checks. Among other requirements, adopters must agree to keep the dog as an indoor pet, and adopters must agree to return the dog to CGDRI in the event that they can no longer keep the dog. All dogs are spayed or neutered before being placed. All contracts will be enforced with legal action if neccesary.Our goal is to find our foster dogs permanent, loving homes.Most of our dogs are turned in by their current owners and are between 12 months and 2 years of age.At this age they are still mentally puupies but they are very BIG puppies..If you feel that you would provide a good home for one of our dogs, please give us a call and we will get your application process started!!
