The Ultimate(well maybe not)LegoWars Page

Ok. Well Hiho to all of you people who somehow found your way here (I had nothing to do with it, I swear!). Well on this page you'll find lots of things if you bother looking for them. Such as links to other, slightly better sites, and wonderful clarifications on some stuff that other sites kinda just gloss over..... We haven't bothered to import everything from the other pages, as much for convience to everbody as for the copyright infringments we'd surely incur. Besides, they all load real fast, so it's not much effort on your part.

For the beginner:

Main Rules Tome for Lego Wars

General Tables

Troopers Handbook

Ouch! Tables and the closest thing to a disclaimer I could come up with without bothering with a lawyer
(If this link dosen't work, just go to http://members.aol.com/deathfred/page2/Ouchtables.htm)

An interesting sim game from one Alex Ramos (I haven't presonally checked it out too much due to present time restrictions, so anyone who does look throught it, please e-mail your thoughts here)

I'm currently still looking for the site w/ all the rules for a Mideval-style game, but most of us are content to just stick to lazers and use swords if we have to with the rules already in the Standard Rule Tomb. Although if you know where this site is, please contact me.

Things Needed for A Good Game

A good free day to spend waring
The rule tombs that can be found at the links above
The happy little other rules Chris and I made up
A good dose of creativity and disregard for rules
A large playing surface (figure about one sq. foot for every 10 spacemen or 1 large vehicle)
Lots of spare Lego pieces and creations that aren't exactly near-and-dear to your heart (you'll be ripping them appart)

Since Chris and I are who we are, we're never satisfied with rules. Expecially ones we didn't make up and have no reason to bother following. So we made some changes and annotations to the Standard Rule Tombs.

Strange New Rules For You to Ignore

We don't know why this wasn't oncluded earlier, but any non-Lego piece/creation/figure/etc is to be disposed of instantly!!! Using such foul creations dishonors the name LegoWars (if we wanted you to use other kinds of pieces, it wouldn't be LegoWars, now would it?).
When a vehicle is shot at, and the armor roll of the vehicle ties the dammage roll of the attacker, the vehicle still gets hit, thus making it possible to get a "1" on the Ker-Pow chart (take a look at the chart and you'll see why this is a good thing!)
For new weapons, go Here. (subject to frequent updates, so check back often!)
If you wish to use infantry against vehicles (not suggested) and it's obvious one guy can't take the vehicle out, you may add all the dammage from up to 5 spacemen together and treat it as one single attack on the vehicle (each spaceman must make his own to-hit roll however).
There is now a "Repercusions Check" for Stupendous Feats. Every time a Stupendous Feat is accomplished which might be concieved as dangerous (super-high-jumping, climbing up walls, throwing a vehicle, eating vehicles or spacemen, etc.) the person controlling the hero rolls a 1d6, and the person not controlling the hreo rolls a 1d3 (take a 1d6 and use 1-2 as 1, 3-4 as 2, and 5-6 as 3). If there is a tie or the hero's controller wins, the hero is all happy and fine. If, however, the other person wins the roll, something bad happens (see Ouch! Chart), such as breaking a leg or getting indigestion from eating that extra-large tank (Chris...). Note that the Stupendous Feat is still accomplished, the hero just isn't so happy anymore.....
I have some pics comming of the new weapons (and some old ones) along with armor and anything else interesting. Unfortunatly, this will all have to wait 'till I get my new color scanner, so look for them starting late next week (May 5th or so).
