When I have time to spare, I experiment with textures and embossing techniques. I have completed a series of background tiles that I believe are suitable for use by those of you who are looking for more classical backgrounds. All of my designs are original; any similarity to other tiles circulating throughout the web is purely accidental. All designs are copyrighted and free for use on personal web pages. Corporate use is invited for a fee. E-mail me for details. If you decide to use one of my designs, a link to my page is required. I have included a logo button (to the left) for this purpose. So that there is no confusion, the URL that must be used is http://hometown.aol.com/designaged/index.html.

With all that, now said, let me properly welcome you to my site. I have been feverishly working to create some new tiles and at the same time, I've been redesigning the site. (...Why is it that you can stare at this screen for hours testing and rearranging, to finally get the inspiration that really works, when it's time to quit for the night?) In any case, I hope you like the new look. So, let's get on with it.

The Navigation aides to the left will help guide you around the site. You will find tiles of all textures, colors and shades in the five primary areas. From each area, you can then go to many other places that may be of interest to you. At all times, there will be a link back to home.

This site started out displaying a few tiles. Some of those very same tiles are still included in the collection. During the past year many new ones have been added. (I think I have improved with practice; and, I hope the tiles have improved in quality.) Even more new tiles are being introduced during this site redesign. I hope you'll find something you like and that you'll let me know if you find something you use. I'd love to see what you dream up and I love be invited to see your sites!
