Services
Groceries - Deliveries are made by volunteers after receiving requests from persons in need. This food comes from monetary and food donations and food drives conducted by local churches, schools, Scout Troops, 4-H Groups, and businesses.
Furniture and Household Items - Provided to families or individuals coming out of a homeless or fire situation.
Transportation - Transportation is provided to persons for medical and social service appointments when they are unable to provide their own. A three day advance notice must be received.
Financial Assistance - Emergency financial assistance is available on a case-by-case basis.
Examples:
Rent/Mortgage - to prevent evictions.
Utilities - to prevent disconnect.
Medical - when client can't afford it.
Shelter - temporary for the night.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED
Food Committee needs drivers to be on call for five days to deliver food either for the day or evening shift.
Officer of the Day Committee needs people to answer the Help-line telephone one day a month.
Transportation Committee needs people to drive individuals to appointments.
