Dignity/Suffolk is Long Island's oldest support group to the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community. Dignity/Suffolk is a community of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered Catholics and other Christians, our families and friends. We provide a healing outreach to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered Catholics by affirming that they are beloved children of God. We gather together to establish a nurturing community of worship, blessing, celebration, ministry, spiritual development, education and fellowship. We are a prophetic witness to the Church, to the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community and to society.

Directions to Little Portion Friary
Little Portion is located about 60 miles east of New York City on the north shore of Long Island. We are only minutes from the beach and local shopping.
From the Long Island Expressway (Route 495): Take exit 63; go north on Route 83, which is North Ocean Avenue. Continue on Route 83 until you reach Mt. Sinai-Coram Road (the third light after you cross Route 112). Turn left onto Mt. Sinai-Coram Road and continue to the end (you will cross over two intersections: first, 25A, second, North Country Road; notice the fire station on the left, deli on the right). Mt. Sinai-Coram Road ends at the intersection with Shore Road. Turn right onto Shore Road, and then make the first left onto Old Post Road. Drive approximately 1/4 mile. Little Portion is located on the left at the top of the hill. We are located at #48 Old Post Road.

Parents, their children and gays and lesbians are welcome to gather together for prayer, support and sharing in a positive and confidential manner. Meets monthly on Thursdays at St. Francis de Chantal in Wantagh.
