One Step Behind was started in the summer of 00', when Jarred and Clif were extremely bored. They started off as the Chess Club Studs and quickly realized that the name sucked and changed it around 67 times until Subject to Change finally stuck. This rocking name however was taking by a homosexual reggae shit band. Then they began the search for a new name. They changed to the Uncalled Fors until Chance came up with "One Step Behind" Now their 69th try at a name is the one being kept. (note: If anyother band already has stake, they will kill. I'm deadly serious)
A mixture of punk, ska, and heavy metal makes them extremely annoying to parents and to some members, hard of hearing. Take if from ol' Dick Manley, folks...OSB rocks. Their Jan. 26th rock show in their hometown of Manhattan, Ks(with BFDM and the Bteam) was heaven-sent. They rocked, the rolled, they wore wigs...it was a site to behold. Some of the members of the Bteam even developed a crush on the trumpet player(the girl, not the new guy). The group now has a new trombone player. The guy with the hair has been replaced. No one has developed a crush on the new guy....yet.
