We'd like you to consider "THE DILLON FAMILY BAND" for the upcoming event. This band consists of Sherman Lee Dillon, Louise Dillon, their seven children, and a son-in-law.

"THE DILLON FAMILY BAND" sings traditional American songs while accompanying themselves on authentic folk instruments. Their presentation includes songs by Jimmy Rogers, the Carter Family, Robert Johnson, and Leadbelly (to name a few.) The songs reflect a time before Bluegrass, Rhythm & Blues, Country music, and Mountain music became subcategories for the music everyone knew and loved.

Sherman Lee Dillon has been performing professionally for over 30 years. Oddly enough, it was not until the children approached him with the "family band" concept that the family began performing. Since then they have performed at schools, nursing homes, reunions, and festivals with equal enthusiasm from seniors, children, teenagers, and adults.

We are prepared to send an audio CD, 5 minute video, 8 x 10 picture of the band, personnel page, set list, list of some past engagements, and stage layout.
