ABOUT THE ARTIST
Dino Massaroni began drawing at the age of four and at fourteen, he began studying painting with Jack Richard in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. After earning an Associate Degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Dino worked as an art director/designer for an ad agency in Akron, Ohio.
Dino's ability to capture the character and natural likeness of his sitters has made him the popular choice of many portrait clients. He continues to study the work of the Masters in the museums of the United States, Canada and Europe.
One of Dino's loves is Italy. He travels there regularly to paint the narrow streets and alleyways in Rome and Florence, as well as the rolling landscapes in Tuscany and the small mountain village of Macchione where his father Anthony Massaroni was born. Another destination that has recently caught his eye is the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy. Many new paintings of these areas will be posted on this web site, so keep visiting.
