(1)James Monroe Ferguson, born on March 10, 1826. He married Mary Malissa WHIPKEY IN 1850.
*Generation 2*
James Monroe FERGUSON was born on March 10, 1826 in Fayette County, PA. He married Mary Malissa WHIPKEY, the daughter of David H. WHIPKEY Jr. and Rebecca Martha CRAMER in 1850. She was born on February 3, 1832 in Fayette County PA. James Monroe died on March 21, 1902. Mary Malissa WHIPKEY died on April 13,1911. They had the following children:
(1)Arminda Mae FERGUSON, born on November 4, 1851 in Pennsylvania. She married William Henry LYDICK on March 27, 1873 in Richill Twp. Green County, PA. She died on May 12, 1908 in Calhoun County, WV.
(2)Lewis Mitchell FERGUSON, born on July 16, 1853 in Marshall County, WV. He married Sophia Susana GILL on December 30, 1875 in Richill Twp., Greene County, PA. Lewis Mitchell died on June 30, 1940 in Belpre Ohio.
(3)Martha Rebecca FERGUSON, born January 9, 1856 in Marshall County, WV. She married William Van Ransler GILL on October 28, 1875 in Richhill Twp. Greene County, PA. She died on March 31, 1953 in Smithville, Ritchie County, WV. She is burried in the Hardman Chappel Cemetary.
(4)Sarah Elizabeth FERGUSON, Born March 29, 1857 in Marshall County, WV. She married Harmon WILLIAMS.
(5)Hulda Ann FERGUSON, born September 28, 1858. She never married. She died on July 31, 1943. She is burried in Nobe Cemetary in Calhoun County, WV.
(6)Mary M. FERGUSON, born on October 10, 1860 in Marshall County, WV. She died April 4, 1947.
(7)Rachael A. FERGUSON, born on April 8, 1863 in Marshall County, WV. She died in 1953.
(8)Emily Catherine "Emaline" FERGUSON, born November 14, 1864 in Marshall County, WV. She died January 11, 1953.
(9)Clerinda FERGUSON, born April 8, 1867 in Marshall County, WV. She married Christopher Kight. She died on March 21, 1937.
(10)John K. FERGUSON, born on November 4, 1869 in Marshall County, WV. She married Estella M. CONLEY on August 29, 1899 in Roane County. They are burried in Nobe Cemetary in Calhoun County, WV.

Lewis Mitchell FERGUSON was born on July 16, 1853 in Marshall County, WV. He married Sophia Susana GILL on December 30, 1875. She was the daughter of Andrew GILL and Anna BURCH. She was born on July 10, 1859 in Marshall County, WV. Lewis Mitchell FERGUSON died on June 30, 1940 in Belpre Ohio. Sophia Susana GILL died on April 15, 1922 in Gilmer County, WV. They had the following children:
(1)Winifred Theodosia FERGUSON, born on March 29, 1877 in Marshall County, WV. She married Newton Lee GRIMM on March 29, 1896 in Calhoun County, WV. She died in August 1955 in Pleasant Hill, Calhoun County, WV. She is burried in Nobe Cemetary, Calhoun County, WV.
(2)Ella FERGUSON, born February 1879. She died about 1955 in Wood County, WV. She married Samuel SIMERS in 1915.
(3)Cora FERGUSON, born August 1881. She married Walker ROBERTSON.
(4)Ida FERGUSON, born May 1885, married ? BECKNER
(5)Wiley "Ted" FERGUSON, born March 24, 1887 in Revere, Gilmer County, WV. He married Modeena MARTIN July 17, 1910 in Revere, Gilmer County, WV. He died on November 21, 1981 in Parkersburg, Wood County, WV. He is burried at Nobe Cemetary, Calhoun County, WV.
(6)Viola "Ole" FERGUSON, born September 1888. She married Raymond KIGHT. She died in Glenville, Gilmer County, WV.
(7)John L. FERGUSON, born in November 1891. He married Lilla WOODFORD. He died in Gilmer County, WV.
(8)Mary Ann FERGUSON, born on April 28, 1895. She married Ernest Lee Gainer. She died in April 1979 in Levittown, Bucks County, PA.
(9)Leone E. FERGUSON, born on Sept 24, 1901 in Revere, Gilmer, County, WV. She married Dewey BARNES on September 16, 1920 in Gilmer County, WV. She died on Jan 21, 1995 in Parkersburg, Wood County, WV.

Leone E. FERGUSON was born on September 24, 1901 in Revere, Gilmer County, WV. She married Dewey BARNES on September 16, 1920 in Gilmer County, WV. He was the son of William Sheridan BARNES and Mary SHARP. Dewey BARNES died on January 30, 1966. Leone FERGUSON died on January 21, 1995 in Parkersburg, Wood County, WV. They had the following children:
(1)Marvin BARNES, born on October 25, 1921 in Gilmer County, WV. He married Mary Evelyn Nelson on November 4, 1939 in Greenup, KY. Sadly, Marvin Barnes Died on February 29, 2004 in Bradenton, FL.
(2)Mary Lou BARNES, born on October 25, 1921 in Revere, Gilmer County, WV.She never married. She died on April 26, 1989 in Parkersburg, Wood County, WV.
