"The Padre Cooks" is a collection of favorite recipes offered by the Carmel, California High School Class of 1951 on the occasion of their 50th reunion. The tempting recipes are enhanced with beautiful photographs of Carmel and the Monterey Peninsula. Some are current, others offer a glimpse of an earlier, quieter time.

Proceeds from the sale of this cookbook will support the Carmel High School Class of 1951 Scholarship Fund. Currently a fundraising drive is underway to endow a permanent annual scholarship. At this time, proceeds totaling $600 from the sale of The Padre Cooks have been donated to the scholarship fund.
