In May of 2002, the girl was sent up to Rosecroft, into the excellent care of Lloyd Gilmour. As a 2 year old, Lloyd taught her the in's and out's of the racetrack and how to control her firey spirit. He took special care to keep her from racing to fast and hurting herself, to which I thank him very much.
Thanks to the excellent nutrients given from the time of her conception, and the patient care of those who have worked with her, Spirit has not had any medical or leg injuries to date. She is in perfect health and ready to race as a three year old. At the beginning of this month, Feb. 2003, she was sent again to Rosecroft and into the excellent care of Lloyd Gilmour. She should be ready to qualify for racing again soon.
