This
Memorial was designed to pay tribute to those Corpsmen who gave the ultimate
sacrifice to aid and comfort fellow Marines and Sailors.

Bond"
Artist /
Sculptor - Peter Wild
Statue
commissioned by Dr. Will "Doc" Laing MD, Ph.D. and was dedicated on
September 2, 1995 at the National Naval Medical Center,Bethesda Naval Hospital,
Bethesda, Maryland.
This
statue "The unspoken bond" between Corpsmen and Marines is made of
basswood and is highly polished with wax to give it a brass look. It's life
size at 5'10" tall, and weights 350 pounds without the
stand.
