Hacienda Boriken is headquarted in a very well preserved Classic 1950's residence. It is a home away from home. Private and bi-lingual.The concept is unique and is the First and ONLY one in Phoenix. It's atmosphere, semi retro bohemian, tropical Puerto Rican setting. Where Social exchange, building new relationships and a sense of belonging is the norm. It's perfect, to share time with your friends and enjoy music, while eating Empanadilla, Arepas, Alcapurrias, or, drinking Puerto Rican Coffee shipped from the coffee town of Yauco, are some of what Hacienda Boriken offers. Hacienda Boriken is committed to the development of our culture, nurturing it and keeping it alive for generations to come. Hacienda Boriken will do this by Children workshops, presentations, folkloric dancing and social events, which will also include cultural history both past and present. For our members and those who are intrested in knowing our culture.
Hacienda Boriken is also committed to keeping our focus on you. You feeling as part of a" family" where by Puerto Ricans (where ever they might find themselves) can inter-exchange resources, and information. The fundamentals are to preserve and keep our culture alive.
All of Hacienda Boriken events are culturally based, once again with these goals in mind, to promote, preserve and pass on our rich and beautifully diverse culture, to our children and their children's children!
