I have been in the business over 25 years and have had a great deal of success with flat horses and steeplechasers.My resume includes winning the leading trainer title in Virginia 13 of the last 16 years. I also have 6 leading rider titles to my credit, along with 2 BMW Horseman of Year awards.Currently, I am the Race Director of the Virginia Gold Cup,President of the Virginia Steeplechase Assn, and Chairman of the NSA Race Chairman's Committee. I hold two Masters Degrees from Villanova University in Biology and Biochemical Genetics. If you are interested in "getting your feet wet" in the racing business, perhaps a racing partnership at Initiator Stables will suit your needs. I am always available to talk horses with anyone who is new to business and has many questions. I am licensed at all the tracks on the east coast and will place your horse where he has the best opportunity to win.

Training ServicesI am a hands on trainer. I feel riding my racehorses is the best way for me to feel the horse and how he is going. Every horse gets out every day at my barn. And, a veterinarian arrives daily to check over my charges. I also have experienced exercise riders who ride along side me and an excellent group of grooms. The horses live in a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere on my 105 acre farm. My facilities include a training track, an equine swim center within walking distance, gallops and fences on the farm and an equine hospital 1/4 mile down the road.
