Notes on Dora Irene Enos:Dora remarried a man by the name of Amos LeMasters,she is buried in West Clarendon Cemetary,Clarendon,Michigan.

NOTES ON GEORGE NEWMAN TANNER
George was born in Milford Twp.Juniata County,Pennsylvania.He died in Houston,Harris County,Texas and is buried at the Veterans National Cemetary in Houston,Texas Section E Grave 637 along with Stephanie Dora Morford Tanner.George and Stephanie were married 8-23-1950 in Saline,Michigan.George served in the US Army during WWII as a paratrooper,he served in Company A 505th Paratroop Infantry.His induction date was June 15,1943 at Fort Custer,Michigan,
date of entry into active service was June 29,1943.He fought in the following battles and campaigns:Normandy Campaign,Rhineland Campaign and Ardennes Campaign.He was awarded the following decorations and citations:Purple Heart,Combat Infantry Badge,Good Conduct Ribbon,European Afican Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbon and three Bronze Campaign Stars.He was wounded in action Nov.2,1944 and was given an Honorable Discharge from Percy Jones Hospital Center Fort Custer,Michigan Oct.3,1945.
