Mike Dorsey - France
Europe

Since 1996, I have had the opportunity to spend time in Europe on three different occasions,
each time studying the various languages, histories and cultures that our European ancestors have to offer.
It all started in the summer of '96 with an extensive Spanish languages course in Salamanca, Spain accompanied by a guided tour throughout the country.
Next came a chance to teach English in southern Spain to a group of Spanish boys. With all of my expenses being paid by the camp sponsors,
"Opus Dei," I was fortunate enough to travel for another month, ultimately making it to 13 different countries in a matter of 31 days.
The third and most sensational of my European experiences came in the second semester of my Junior year in college, when I studied French and business
in the Business school in Dijon, France.
During this five-month stay, I learned the language, saw the culture and was able to visit and learn about basically
every major city in Western Europe. I spent the majority (literally over 50%) of the Spring '02 traveling, intent on learning, seeing and doing.
