I hope you see that.

Trying not to fall to hard

Start to pull away
But it's hard,
you've got to understand
trying to live this way.

I'm not ready to let go

You're not ready to try
But the fact
that I still care
is keeping me up at night.

I'm happy when I'm with you
though
You're sending me mixed clues
But it's ok
I understand because,
I'm feeling the same way too.

Push and Pull

You push me away
And in your eagerness
for seperation
You miss the fact
that I'm pulling.

Pushing and pulling
And neither realizing
that all we need do
Is let go
and then be free.

I pull away
And you pull away
and we end up
Meeting in the middle
back where we began.

You push at me
And then realize
that I'm pulling away
Tightening your hold
you pull me back.

And neither relizing
what either wants
So we push and pull
and hearts are torn.

I push and you push
When will we learn
that letting go
Could be the answer
to easing pain.

You push me away

Healing

A broken heart
Will heal someday
The wounds will mend
The pain won't stay

A head once hung
Low in despair
Will be held high
With a graceful air

The shattered dreams
Will soar again
And the fallen spirit
Will rise and stand

The wings you thought
Would never fly
Will lift you up
To touch the sky
