For as long as I can remember I've had a artists paint brush, or a camera in my hand. My Dad was very artistic, and was constantly building things out of wood, or taking photographs, when I was a child. He was a unique craftsman is how we remember my Dad. I owe him for my artistic eye, and my appreciation for all around me. He taught me to capture the ordinary, as well as the extraordinary, on film and as well as on paper. Enabling you to look back on those special moments in time. Allowing you to share those times with others, in the hopes that perhaps it would move them as much . As you were when you captured it.

One of my other interests in life, besides my artwork, and photography is my love for the outdoors. I am an advid gardener.
As you will see in my flower photographs. Being from the North in New England . Our summers are quite short. I so look foward to spring, and the rebirth of the world after it's long winter slumber.

I like to combine my photo's and artwork together. By using them for later reference, in a painting. As seen in these two paintings of mine shown here.

I also enjoy taking walks, and hikes, every chance
I get. I live right next to a large state park. So I don't have far to go to commune with nature. I like to seek out waterfalls. Trying to find, and capture as many as I'm able on film.

My life has never been happier, or more full filled, than I am right now. I have 2 girls, 13 and 25. And 2 grand daughters.
I am married. I meet my soul mate ( husband )
( Joe ) over the internet. And he's made me happier than I ever imagined I could be. We have so much in common. And share all the same likes, and loves ......... And everyday I thank God for bringing him into our lives.
We have a life time of new adventures, and many new places to go, and special moments to share. And that means more photos to take, and paintings to paint ............

I'm a self taught artist. I've learned on my own. I mainly use mixed mediums in my paintings, acryclics, and dark pencil. I've learned to work with the paints fast, before it dries, to achieve the effect I want.
At one time I did a great deal of pen, and inks. I'll have to show case some of them soon ....................
