Debbie wrote, on back of photo, "(2/99) "Circle" d. i. Waco, Tx Located on Lasalle St. Flea market on weekends. An ins. co. has built an office to the screen tower. Conc. std. is still there and part of the entrance. All of the ramps are gone. To the right of the tower there is another 2-story office built onto the tower. Open in 47' - original mural on screen was of an Indian themed mural, but was later chg. to a bear for Baylor Univ. Mascot. Closed in 82' "< Description of front of screen.

Janet also told me, "the mural painted of the Bear running through Baylor stadium was painted in 1964 and it covered up a indian mural that was painted in 1947 when the Circle opened."
