01/07/08 I received the picture in the mail. Notice the wooden radio, the fan and the button in the middle of the fan. "IT HITS THE BALL" is a baseball scorekeeper item. On the reverse is where the balls/strikes and outs are maintained. The logo is King of Beverage. Any Comments???
01/17/2008 This web site was started in 2002 when my limit was a total of 8mb allowed on aol. This limited the size of pictures that could be displayed. Thermometers were the first items that other collectors and I wanted to display. This was at the same time that Gary Metz had an auction with Dr Pepper, Dr Pepper and more Dr Pepper. When the auction was completed, he sent me all the Dr Pepper pictures from the auction. There were two pictures to a photo and the stack was about 6 inches high. It took me weeks to scan all of them in. I have identified some of his pictures with rating, amount and item number from his catalog. As and example, 7.5 was the rating, $300 was the selling price and #288 was the item number in the catalog.
I am now allowed 700 mb on aol (yes, 700MB) and I am using about 140 mb. That is the major reason that I can't change to another server.
