Veterinary Housecalls and Consultations
Dr. Tina Ellenbogen of Mobile Veterinary Servics has been providing Veterinary Housecalls within a 10-12 mile radius of Bothell, WA since 1987.
She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from UC Davis in 1979, and returned to her alma mater during January 2000 as a selected recipient of the Don Low practitioner fellowship-focusing on Internal Medicine, client education, and participation with the Pet Loss Hotline.
In addition to her housecall practice, she provides monthly well-pet health care screenings and vaccinations for seniors' pets at Northshore Senior Center.
She also volunteers with Evergreen Hospice in Kirkland, WA.
Dr. Ellenbogen has a special interest and expertise in the human-animal bond as well as pet loss and bereavement. She has completed post-graduate training in the emerging field of veterinary hospice and end-of-life/quality of life assessments and decision-making for companion animals, works closely on a referral basis with local veterinary practioners and veterinary specialists, and serves on the board of the Association of Human-Animal Bond Veterinarians. She is an active member of her local, state, and national veterinary associations, as well as the local holistic veterinary association.
Mobile Veterinary Services strives to educate owners and pet stewards so that they may make informed and knowledgeable decisions about the health care of their pets.
The practice philosophy incorporates both preventive wellpet and ongoing health maintenance care across the lifespan, and also palliative and/or hospice care when the focus must shift from cure to comfort. She incorporates a holistic approach and draws from alternative modalities to broaden the options for patients and clients.
Our mission statement: Helping people & pets take good care of each other
Veterinary services are scheduled as house calls, and/or email or telephone consultations. Please note our request for initial contact to be made via phone call - we often are not able to check email throughout each day. However, our voice mail is available 24/7; and we always pick up when we are in the office. Resource materials and other pet health care products are available by mail, and geriatric pet care and caregiving topics on CD will be available soon.
Please contact us for services,a resource order form, information about our classes and Pets, Poetry and Pawprints memorial events, to request Dr. Ellenbogen as a speaker for a community group, or to donate to the pet care fund at Northshore Senior Center.

Community Education & Resources
Pets, Poetry and Pawprints, an annual unique community event celebrating the pets in our lives, was inaugurated in 1999 with expansion in the coming years. In 2005 we will begin to partner for this event with All Pets Go to Heaven, an organization dedicated to pets from birth through death (www.allpetsgotoheaven.com).
Dr. Ellenbogen is also serving in an advisory capacity for Marymoor Park's Pet Garden - the first memorial pet garden created and under the auspices of King County Parks (www.metrokc.gov/parks/petgarden).
Classes and workshops for pet owners are offered locally on a quarterly basis. We offer pet heath and pet loss resource packets, save-my-pet window rescue stickers, and beautiful blank notecards, and are a leading resource for pet loss and bereavment remembrance items and books (such as memorial candles).
These booklets, candles and other items make meaningful gifts for those who have aging pets, or may have just lost a beloved pet.
We also provide monthly well-pet screenings for seniors at Northshore Senior Center in Bothell, WA(since 1988!)and have a fund set up there for seniors to apply to for other pet health needs.
