My name is Debbie Russell. I live in Granger,
Indiana, right outside of South Bend and on
the Michigan State line. I have been raising
and showing Jersey Wooly's and Holland Lop's
since 1991.
The Holland Lops were originally my sons
breed(used to be RT's on my pedigrees). When they lost interest, I couldn't bear to do without their wonderful personality in my barn.
Color genetics is one of my passions, which
is one of the reasons I enjoy the two breeds
I raise. Getting the correct type on all the
"other" colors of Hollands has been a fun
challenge. I couldn't stand having only one
color!
The Jersey Wooly colors I raise are:
Agouti's - chestnut, opal, chin & squirrel
Tan - black & blue otters, black & blue silver martins, sable & smoke pearl martins
Shaded - siamese sables & smoke pearl -
occasionally tort & sable point
Self - black, blue & REW. Occasionally chocolate & lilac.
No BEWS
I have most Holland colors except BEW and Pointed White
