Repair and Recalibration costs:
As you can see from the repair details section, It takes a fair amount of work to repair and
recalibrate a meter. I do this as a side business for people on the photo newsgroups and from the
ebay auctions. I ask a flat rate of $85 to repair and calibrate a Nikon F meter, and the DP-1 meter.
I ask for a flat rate of $100 to repair the Dp-11 meter, and $125 to repair the DP-2, DP-3 and
DP-12 meters.
There is usually a two week turnaround time.
Please email me at drwyn@aol.com if you would like your meter repaired. We can then
discuss the specific arrangements for shipping ect.
Nikon F and F2 body repair:
Several people have asked me about repairing their Nikon F and F2 bodies. I just repair their
meter heads. There are not many shops left servicing these older Nikon cameras. If you should
need professional service on your Nikon F or F2 one shop we can recommend is Kipling's. You
can contact them at compur1@yahoo.com (Robert Kipling)
