Yet, we are living with this now! Here in the city of Marlboro, there are many children with diabetes, if we begin to connect and know each other we can enlighten our community together! The needs of every child without diabetes are individual yet have common grounds. Same as with the diabetic child, they certainly have differences but many common grounds! It would benefit all, to have a community that has developed a resource from the people that know these children first hand and are their primary caregivers 24/7.

Together we can get through the trials and tribulations! We don't need to go through this alone! Our joint efforts will benefit all children diagnosised with diabetes that are Living with diabetes in our city. Through public awareness, dispelling myths, collaborating on ideas to make the best environment for our children!
School issues can be extremely difficult, as a group we can assist each other by sharing what personal experiences we have had and establish some guidelines for newly diagnosised children's parents, no one should feel like a pioneer! Many children have been through the system before ours so we can learn from that and improve on it. As technology changes and treatments vary from the past we can support educating the system to the needs of our children today! Help your child! Help yourself! Help to make Marlborough a city that is diabetes friendly and aware! Your child will benefit immencely from a community that has insight in to the day in the life of diabetes management in children.
