"LOVE WAITS"...when a family member is MISSING!
MAY 2001
A child.. so innocent, naive, and blessed with all the bondings of a loving family
grows.
A teenager.. perhaps confused, yet learning about responsibilities,  depths of love, and prepares to spread his wings.

Then suddenly without any warning, the important "check-in" call doesn't come, he doesn't walk in the front door, the worries climax, the police report is filed, and the heart breaking silence traumatizes every breath a parent takes as
 LOVE WAITS!

This page is designed to bring an awareness of the many families who are missing a loved one.
The bond between a parent and a child is intensely interwound...The love and anxieties that hurt when a child is "MISSING" is devestating.
Over 100 days have passed since we last saw our "MISSING" 17 year old son, this page shares some of our personal feelings of how the continued hurt, anquish, and traumatic heartbreaking saga stagnates every breath we take as we continue our plight to find him, hopefully
ALIVE.
If you know of anyone who might be encountering a similar situation, I invite you to share this page with them.
As our quest continues, it is my thought, we might all better understand these situations if we unite our anxieties and prayers, merge our voices and experiences, and stand with unfathomable strength to protect the MISSING, as LOVE WAITS!
HELP is available!
During our trials and tribulations of a loving family with a "MISSING" link, we've encountered astounding statistics.. though our family is not alone, we've felt as though we've stepped on an island of disillusion and set adrift to find our way through this horrible nightmare alone.

It has become my quest to reach out, as we conquer our fears, to share our story and try to help others in a similar situation to overcome this trying time of life.
There are countless organizations which will offer assitance to make and distribute posters of MISSING people, especially children. There are places to contact where you can leave messages for a runaway.
I recommend you list your MISSING loved one with as many sources as you possibly can... but do not be deceived to think the work can be left in other hands
.. if you want it done there is an ever stretching list
of things for you to do
and redo
contacts to make
and recontact
over and over
time
and time again.
You must filter through rumors, find sources, learn names of every contact possible.
During all this hard work, one finds themself suffering through a
web of heart breaks and endless hopes.
There are times the physical self starts to breakdown and the mental capacity
is totally overwhelmed with "what else can I do?"
And somehow you must find your inner tolerance to continue doing everything
over and over again.

Dearest MISSING,
Was it something we disagreed upon? Did you walk away in hopes to find your own peace and freedoms? Or has someone done harm to you?
Our prayers are that you are alive, but we will never know unless you call.
Our family's love is forever.. please let us share your life with you. Our hearts have broken many times over as we worry for your safety. Whatever issues you may have, wherever you have been, please know we will never stop loving you and pray you are safe.
