G'Day. My name is Noel, and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I am the youngest in my family of 4.

My Interests
Besides chatting online, I collect militaria of all kinds. I specialize in collecting US medals, of which I have over 200. I also collect Davy Crockett, Pearl Harbour, where I have vistited twice and John Simpson Kirkpatrick, of the "Simpson and his Donkey" fame, items. I am doing my Family tree and do a little astronamy. I support the MIGHTY Essendon Bombers in the AFL.
I lenjoy going camping with my friends up to the Murray River on the Victoria, New South Wales border.

TOP LINE LEFT:This is my uncle Fred. VX54528 Pte. Frederick Walter Johnson. A Company,Head Quarters staff, 2/29 Batt., 8th. Division, 2nd AIF. He was a POW to the Japanese and was in Changi and served on The Burma Railway.
TOP LINE RIGHT:The 1939/45, Pacific Stars, War medal, Australian Service Medal and POW Medal, awarded to my uncle for his service in World War II.
SECOND LINE: This is a card my uncle sent to his mother after being captured. NOTE the postmarks and the backward "N"s. on the card. The writing is NOT my uncle's but the signature is.
THIRD LINE: This is the pugaree from my uncle's hat that he is wearing in the above photo.
