Millenium Contest

The New Millennium is near...

The new millennium is drawing near. All are welcomed to submit words of encouragement or poems, essays, rap, original, and spiritual words of encouragement, up to 32 verses and for essays up to 500 maximum words.

The Topics are:

      1. What do I expect in the year 2000?

      2. What I would like to be doing in the year 2000?

      3. What will I do if I live through year 2000?

      4. If I could change anything, what would I change in the year 2000?

      5. If I could change the world in the year 2000, I would....

      6. What does the New Millennium mean to me?

      7. If I won the New Millennium contest I would or I will...

Please submit YOUR work and ideas. There are 3 age groups:

  • Children 5-11

  • Juniors 12-17

  • Adults 18 and up

ENTRY FEES:

Children and Juniors - $1.00 & 18 and up - $2.00

PRIZES:

1st Place: $1,000.00 check made out to the winner. If you are under 18 the check will be made out to a legal guardian.

2nd Place: $500.00

3rd Place: $250.00

4th Place: $100.00

There will be a winner for each place in each age group. In addition, one name will be drawn from selected Honorable Mentions to receive a $50.00 gift certificate.
