Here are some files that I have found useful while constructing my airplane. All word processor files are in Word 2.0 format, and all spreadsheets are in Excel. If you have any useful spreadsheets, databases, or programs you have written that you would like to share with everyone, send me a copy and I will post it here.

Personal Minimums Checklist This is a reproduction of FAA-P-8740-56. It's a good tool to help you perform an analysis of your own competancy and proficiency level to keep you from getting in "over your head" in your personal flying. Great for new or low time pilots, as well as "high timers". ALWAYS know your limits!

Performance Calculation Spreadsheet This Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet, designed by Bob Lee, allows you to calculate the ideal performance of your RAF-48 based KR aircraft. Enter the engine specifications for your airplane, and the spreadsheet does the rest. Self-extracting .zip file.

KR-2S Building Costs This is the Excel spreadsheet I use to plan and track the costs of building my airplane. It's easy to modify for your own use. If you need a different file format, send me an email and I'll send you a converted copy.

Builder's Log This MS Access database tracks your building progress and everything else associated with your project. It keeps track of building time, costs, vendors, contacts, and has full reporting capabilities. You need MS Access to run it. I HIGHLY recommend this database.

This is an incomplete draft of the test plan I am writing for my KR-2S, and is offered as a reference for those contemplating or already involved in their test programs. The plan is not complete, and by no means perfect, but is here to help share some of the information I have gathered. Your comments and suggestions for improvement are welcomed.
