FARE collects information from a wide range of sources from the Government to Environmental, Animal Rights & Peace Groups and the News Media.
We then take that information and see where actions need to be taken and the priority they need to be addressed.
Then through our network of people and groups we try to make a positive difference for the earth that we all call home.
FARE is an informational distribution center for individuals and groups who share our same concern for the planet.

Greenpeace Special Alert Greenpeace wants to bring our ship, the Esperanza, to the Port of Miami for supplies and to bring people from the Miami area on board to discuss our efforts to protect the Amazon rainforest. But the Port of Miami is refusing us entry because John Ashcroft's Justice Department is prosecuting Greenpeace for a protest action last year. The New York Times has reported that this prosecution is "unusual and questionable." We intend to be exonerated. Don't let the Port of Miami keep Greenpeace out and silence our voices. Contact the authorities in Miami and tell them that they should allow the Esperanza to dock in Miami! Help Defend Marie Mason and Frank Ambrose! Water is a Right! F.B.I. Harassment is a Crime! The F.B.I. is trying to intimidate activists in Michigan. They have subpoenaed Marie Mason and Frank Ambrose of Sweet Water Alliance and the Highland Park Human Rights Coalition. The subpoena comes six weeks after the Earth Liberation Front claimed responsibility for planting incendiaries at the Ice Mountain Bottling Plant in Mecosta. However, if the F.B.I. was just carrying out an investigation, why did they confront Frank at his workplace, potentially endangering his job? Make no mistake about it, Marie and Frank are being targeted because of the hard work they are doing in opposing the privatization of water resources and the disastrous consequences this is having on Michigan citizens and the environment. Through their harassment of Marie and Frank, the F.B.I. is trying to scare off anyone who opposes the big business agenda of greed over need. Marie and Frank have obtained the services of well-known National Lawyers Guild lawyer "Buck" Davis. They are attempting to quash the subpoena. If this fails they will have to go in front of a federal grand jury, which is not a jury of citizens but a means to deny Marie and Frank of their basic legal rights. If they are forced to go before a Federal Grand Jury they will have no fifth amendment rights, no right to have an attorney present, and they could be threatened with jail for not giving out information on other activists. Marie, Frank, and "Buck" Davis are determined to fight this. Marie and Frank desperately need financial help to pay for their legal expenses. Please take a moment to help them out and donate.
