We began competing in American Kennel Club events with English Cockers in 1985. Since our first English Cocker litter in 1987 we have bred 29 Champions and finished many others.
Our foundation bitch Ch. Gandy Dancer's Can Dew II earned her E.C.M. ( English Cocker of Merit) with 9 Champion kids , several Obedience titled kids, Tracking titled dogs, as well as a W.D. & a WDX.
A son of her's Ch Whitfield's Crescent Moon was known by most in the breed. Smudge, (as he was called ) was #1 E.C. and #13 Sporting dog in 1997 . He was also in the top 5 ranking of E.C.'s for over 4 years. He was a multiple Best In Show dog and as a veteran won the Canadian National in 2001. He earned his E.C.M. with 22 champion kids and more soon to finish. He also earned his W.D. at 11-1/2 yrs young.
Sadly our beloved star and best buddy past away on April 15th 2005. We are heartbroken, but he has left us an amazing legacy and many fine children & grandchildren.
Our Ch. Whitfield BluVus Quicksilver has started his journey towards a legacy of his own. With several lovely litters on the ground we look forward to these youngsters making their mark. Besides entertaining the ladies, Silver has begun what we hope to be a successful Specials career in the ring. Check his page for more info and updates as they happen.
We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to incorporate Mollie Robinson's Craigleith line ( Est. 1944) into our family of dogs. With their type, health,soundness of mind and body we are very happy with our dogs and where we are going in the future.
Health and temperament are as important to us as a dogs' conformation is. Our dogs are our extented family. So check out our English Cockers and let us know what you think.
