Victoria Vango
of Amn
Lady Victoria Vango was born in the lavish and opulent resort city of Esmeltaran in Amn. When she was still an infant, along with her twin brother Victor, both had the tips of their ears clipped to hide their half-elven heritage. The Vango family is considered a silver (an up-and-coming merchant with potential for greatness) family in Amn. Victoria was rasied at the tavern, The Singing Harp, that her parents owned. Victoria and her brothers, Victor and Ego, were intrigued with all the songs and tales of travelers that came to the tavern. When she was 9, Ego (14 at the time) left home with a bard, by the name of Maxamillion Darknote, to venture the Realms. She was saddened by her brother's departure. She took up singing and poetry to fill the void.
At the age of 13, the city of Esmeltaran threw a city-wide talent contest. She was the runner-up, losing to one of the Crytrappers children (considered the 10th most important family in Amn these days-Victoria swears to this day that they bought the contest). But there were several priest of Milil in the audience that day (one of them, Patriarch of Song in disguise). Victoria was offered a scholarship to Arbalest's House in Athkatla to improve her singing skills. Being scared at first (never really being away from home), she accepted under two conditions. First, she wanted to come home during the summer and secondly, she wanted Victor to come and visit her from time to time. After a year's time, she asked her parents if she could join the clergy and become a priestess.
After several years, Victoria returned home as a priestess of Milil. Her parents had called her home for business and personal reasons. Her parents had located her brother, Ego, in the Vast in a city called Ravens Bluff. Also, things were starting to heat up politically in Amn when rumors started to fly about cities defecting to Tethyr. With this, Victoria and Victor (along with Gevs, a kobold priest of Waukeen who is the family's financial adviser) were sent to Ravens Bluff to locate Ego and to start a business there to expand the family's wealth.
Getting to Ravens Bluff by boat, they (Victoria and Victor) were surprised when they found out that Ego had started his own business, B&V Security Agency. After several months in town, Ego mysteriously disappeared. He knew his brother and sister were in town and left instructions for Victor to run the business. Since being in the city, Victoria has joined the Red Ravens Fire Fighting Corp. (using spells from a distance) and squired to the Knighthood of the Pillars of the Realms. She is often seen at the temple of Lliira and Sune, giving performances. She is currently staying at the Bards Guild, helping out and trying to convert the bards over to Milil. Recently, Victoria was approached by Lord Clay Ardanay of Amn with a letter of introduction and intent for marriage.
Victoria has slighty olive-colored skin and shoulder length black hair. She stands 5'6" and weighs 115 lbs. Victoria appears human with sharp facial features. She is kind and friendly to everyone. She is very modest about her looks and is very POSH (ALWAYS wearing the latest style).
