Enjoy a wonderful Getaway in the Green Mountain State located in Central Vermont. An exceptionally clean lake, perfect for canoeing, boating, water skiing, swimming, sunning and Fishing.
Our "Cozy Cottage" & "Comfy Cabin" are in a peaceful cove on the south end of the lake, with warm sun all day. At only 50 feet from a large, shared private dock with a small sandy beach and shallow water makes for an excellent swimming area. Rowboat & Canoe with Adult and Child USCG approved life vests also provided at no charge.

From the "Cozy Cottage", Enjoy a great view of the lake and beautiful sunset through large bay window in the living room - or from a full screened porch with bench swing. Warm up in front of a brand new Vermont Casting Stove on chilly nights, before retiringto one of two comfortable bedrooms. The master BR is a finished room with queen size bed, 2nd BR is the classic "cottage" motif with double bed. Blankets supplied. Full Kitchen with microwave, pots/pans, coffee maker, dishes & utensils.

Conveniences/Nearby Dining
Private dock, rowbaot, power boat rentals on the lake, hiking, miniature golf, pizza, ice cream, deli, grocery store, laundry. Excellent restaurants within 20 minutes include Rosie's (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner), The Dog Team Tavern (a MUST for their sticky buns alone!) and Fire & Ice.

Afternoon Shopping/Day Trips
Just 10 miles away, you can spend time in Historic Middlebury with a wonderful array of shops at Frog Hollow, visit the gorgeous Middlebury College campus, and world reknown Morgan Horse Farm/Museum. Don't miss the Festival on the Green in July with entertainment and arts. Take day trips to Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, Ben & Jerry's and the Marble Museum. Worship available for various denominations in and around Middlebury.

The "Comfy Cabin" - was almost completely remodeled just 2 years ago. Basically the same comforts as the "Cozy Cottage", but with a large stone fireplace. We also installed French doors which lead out to a brand new deck to provide the perfect spot to sit and look out to the lake. My favorite time of the day on the deck, is late afternoon--as the sun is beginning to set - washing the house with warm sun.
