IN MEMOREY OF OUR FRIEND SHELDON TUTTLE
Driver John Tidlund Started racing Radio controlled cars and trucks at age 8.
He Moved to Gokarts in 93 and for several seasons ran at some of the dirt tracks around the area.
John Moved to a Ministock and competed at Monadnock Speedway on a limited basis for the first season, with a win and some good finishes. In 1999, He Captured the Ministock Championship, five wins, 17 top fives and finished every race.
For the 2000 season John moved to the Late Model division. He had a great year with two wins, eight top fives and sixteen top tens finishing the season fourth in points
He was the Rookie Of The Year in the Late Models and won the Sportsmanship award.
John ran the Late Model on a limited basis at Monadnock in 2001. He used the new ZZ4 crate engine and thought it had good potential.
He was also able to run a Pro4 Modified at a few of the New England tracks and was very impressed.
