It's all in the music...
But here's a little bit about the members.

Rob Stevens is one of those old timers from the school of hard knocks. Novels could be written about this man and his experiences that molded him into one of the greatest songwriters of our time. He’s been performing for nearly four decades and is one of the finest lead guitarists the planet has to offer. He also plays bass, slide, and rhythm guitar on the album. Rob and his wife spent some time traveling coast to coast driving big rigs and through those experiences he brings an "American" soul to the EFRBs music.
His kindness is only surpassed by his talent as a songwriter which is utterly extensive. Rob is the founder of the EFRB and is the musical mentor to us all.

Joni Headlee is the heart of the band. Her gruff and sometimes "little girl like" vocals accent Robs with an aspect one might find reminissent of a smoky, speak-easy during prohibition. The two have a unique blend that is not found in contemporary music. She is learning to play bass under Rob's tutelage and is coming along well. Joni, since leaving home at the age of 16, has raced stock cars, raised a son and swam with dolphins in Hawaii. She was given the honor of becoming a Badged Firefighter on the 5 Apr 2005, and will be a great asset to the Department.

Tim Dowling plays guitar and mandolin on the album and a perfectionist to the point of insanity. The mandolin he plays is one he built from scratch in his shop however he also plays an arch top on several of the tunes. Beside being a musician he is also a noteworthy visual artist and has designed book and album covers as well as created many fine art paintings. Tim is a volunteer firefighter/EMT and served at Ground Zero during 911.
His hobby is writing and is in the middle of his second novel. He has written and co-written (Stevens) a number of the songs on the "Halfway to Nashville" project. Tim started playing guitar at the age of 14 and finally decided to give the mandolin a try in 1994.

Fred Inman plays 12 and 6 string rhythm guitar, also sings solo and back up vocals. He is a retired Military and served in the US Army during the Viet Nam conflict. Fred is handy with computers and is the EFRBs webmaster. He is well know as the man that gets things done! Fred brings a unique style of rhythm guitar to the EFRB sound, combining country and rock as a natural blend. He is also an accomplished accordionist and promises to work in some of that sound into future tunes. As a firefighter he is invaluable and is nearly first on every incident.E-Mail Address

Scott ! What can we say about Scott that would be enough? Here is a man with way too many brains to fit in his cranium. He should be locked away in an Ivory Tower at MIT but is eccentric enough to move up here and delightfully merge with all of us Mountain Misfits. Scott is our gadget man and works out ways to get the music to you, the listener in spite of equipment that still has patents dating back to 1640. He gets the raw cuts recorded for us so that we can beat them into submitting to sound like the East Fork River Band should. He is also a pretty darn good drummer himself and has become our full time drummer. He lives here with his wife and two very smart children. Guess it runs in the family

Omar Viramontes of Crafted Recording is a fine guitarists as well. So he with Jeremy Conrad were able to work with the band to get that special sound we wanted. We are grateful for his input and patience as we stumbled through the recording process. He's proved to be an invaluable element in elevating the EFRB to achieve super band sound.

Jeremy Conrad plays drums. He not only plays drums, he plays them like a God! The lad has the fastest foot of any human on Earth. Though not officially a member of the band he is considered an integral part of the family. Jeremy came to us courtesy of Crafted Recording Studio in Arcadia, Ca. And plays the drum tracks on the album "Halfway To Nashville." His beats breathed power into tunes like "I Wanna Play" and "Halfway to Nashville" which climbed the charts like a rocket. His youthful, speed made us old farts work a little harder.
