Jim (J.C.) Courtemanche plays guitar and is also learning mandolin to stand in for Tim so
that he can get some much desired guitar time. J.C. is a retired contractor and his
skills in that area are considerable. His appearance is that of the quintessential
"Mountain Man" and if there was ever any doubt that this is a mountain band, J.C. puts
the question to rest. His approach to picking is ...well... enigmatic and none of us are
sure exactly how he does that crossover picking style which also adds a distinctive
sound to the EFRB. J.C. is a volunteer firefighter and one of the engineers. His little
Shiatsu (Norm) follows him everywhere and can be seen in some of the photos herein

Charlie Stone plays rhythm guitar and working on keyboard. He is the cut-up when
he is with the band. If we go off new recording schedules, fans can send their letters directly to
Charlie LOL. He is absolutely "Good Time Charlie" and will jam 48 hours straight if any
of us would give him the chance. Often a distraction but always tremendous fun, he
has a powerful love of the music and works diligently to bring his best game when he
Jams with us. He is an inventor as well as owner of a highly respected painting company and
is a noted gold prospector up here in the mountains. Testimony to his love of music he
has a collection of over 4,000 rare LPs. And of course he is a firefighter up here on the
East Fork River

Robert has been a vital influence on the band.
During a Super Bowl party one year, Robert was playing a chord pattern as Rob Stevens was reading a guitar magazine. When the team didn't score, someone made a comment, “They couldn't even get Halfway to Nashville!’” Inspired by the comment and catchy melody, Stevens grabbed a pen and paper… the rest is musical history. Though Robert has a successful career elsewhere he continues to contribute his extensive talents to the band and it’s always a pleasure to play with him. Thanks Robert
