In fuzzy memories I remember constantly having my mom check out this movie from the library. I got over that addiction and forgot--like kids do--but when I became an anime fan as a teenager, The Last Unicorn came back to me like an old dream. Actually, TLU is Japanese animation that was made for American release. The movie came out in theaters in 1982, its screenplay written by Peter S. Beagle, author of the 1968 novel. That melancholy, strange humor and magic that you thought you caught a glimpse of in the movie is definitely there in the pages. Like many, I love the movie, but I think people should know where it came from.
01.12.25 Merry Merry! This page was formerly titled Emi's Perception of the "The Last Unicorn" but since there are many perception pages out there now, I think the links were probably the most useful part of the page.
Also, there is a new TLU ezboard. The more the merrier, so come help liven things up!
Kim Flournoy is a huge fan of TLU, not to mention its author! Find out a little more about TLU, as well as Beagle's other works, from this knowledgeable and reliable source.
Mainly in English; Phoenix reports the latest TLU activity from Germany. The new TLU theme song cover, .wavs of the German dub, his animated TLU, fan art, cels, posters, forum and more.
I don't know how popular Yahoo Messenger is, but perhaps this will inspire people to make skins for other applications.

This is an Amalthea fan. Beautiful homemade screen-captures, lyrics and quotes, and a thorough collection of character descriptions from both the book and movie.
This is a mixture of lyrics, pictures, and story plot from the movie. You can just ignore where it says the author is "Beale" and the song Now That I'm a Woman is "soooo aweful."
Christina's--and/or her friend's--interpretation of The Last Unicorn as a metaphor of a woman's life. Written about the book version with nice movie images linked.

This person has interesting things to say about the TLU movie, or at least the story. I really like the last paragraph.
Pretty lot of little graphics. Lyrics, images (from the former AON page), and some confusing links (most are named simply "The Last Unicorn," including mine.
Czech. Translation: Page about book and film "The Last Unicorn" (Thank you Cubbi). Very interesting to browse, even if you don't understand the language at all.
I love the midi. It seems an intro was added to the TLU midi that is on a few other sites. Meg tells the TLU story here. Okay, extra credit for the pics of Lír.
Great introduction by the editor of Animecca Magazine. An "Image Tribute" to TLU with lots of stills from the movie. Most of the TLU pics on my page came from images here. Arg, AON keeps changing their pages.
