This young hazel-eyed beauty from North Texas has taken the Tejano market
by storm this year with the release of her current CD, "Ha Nacido Un Angel".
Elyssia Marie's release off this album, "Por Que me Quieres", has earned
her "Song of the Year" Award in Dallas, Texas.
Most recently returning from her European Tour Elyssia Marie has been
nominated for "Rising Female Star", "Female Vocalist/Entertainer" and
"Rising Star Group" for the Texas Talent Musicians Association Awards.
Elyssia Marie began her career in Tejano music after crossing over from
the Country market in 1992. Her first English album, "A Texas Rose", was
well received in Europe and the United States. Upon the release of her
second CD, "Es Amor", doors were opened in the Tejano Market and Elyssia
Marie was invited to appear on numerous programs and events.
Elyssia Marie has a natural talent, she captivates her audience with her
voice and her accordion playing. Elyssia Marie's tireless energy and
her ability to work her audience is refreshing.
