• We've discovered a terrific way to raise funds for our school. It's super-easy, and all you have to do is use your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. We will receive a percentage of the amount of each purchase in the form of a cash donation from Target through the Take Charge of Education® program. It's easy. Just visit target.com/tcoe, or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school. So if you're going to Target anyway, please consider using your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. Big thanks to those who are already doing their part to make a great school even better. Find out how much money our school has already received at target.com/tcoe. Grandparents, alumni, neighbors and friends can take part, too.

• No Tolerance Policy is in effect at all Bristol Township Schools for physical violence of any kind. The consequence for physical violence is suspension for students involved. Parents are a child's FIRST and most IMPORTANT teacher. Talk to your child about appropriate ways to handle problems with other children. Encourage him/her to use words and not actions, when upset or frustrated. Please look for Mrs. Cubberly's flyer on our policy and how Emerson is helping. We strongly believe that if we keep sending the message that physical violence is not ok, our students will rise to our expectations and thrive in a safe school environment.

• Bucks County School Watch Hotline is 1-877-888-7140. If you know of a potential act of violence, theft, vandalism, drug or alcohol use or weapons possession, in or near a school, please report it at once!

• All students must turn in a signed permission slip from their parents to use the internet in our Library. PARENTS: please read the District Internet Use Agreement, then print out, sign and return the permission slip on page 3.

• Parents - please exercise your PARENTAL CONTROLS when it comes to your child's internet use! For great information, please check out GetNetWise.
