Welcome to First Grade

The goal at this level is to begin the formation of a strong foundation of academic and social skills necessary to become literate, productive citizens. We provide our first grade students with the learning opportunities necessary to develop the skills they need to read, communicate, solve math problems and apply knowledge to everyday situations.

The Bristol Township 1st Grade curriculum includes Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Mathematics (numeration, operation, measurement, geometry, and problem solving), Art, Health, Physical Education, Library and Music.
